THE winners of our Euros 2024 competition say they are "so happy" to have won.
Sharon Thomson, 41 and of Peebles, was the lucky winner of our 'No Scotland, No Party' package.
The competition invited readers of the Border Telegraph and Peeblesshire News to answer "Which country is hosting the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament" for the chance to win a Euros party kit, BBQ, Google Home Mini, Scotland bunting, and a £100 Tesco gift card.
Sharon, who works as a nurse, said: "I was so happy. I never win anything. I'm really chuffed."
To celebrate the Euros kicking off in Munich last week, Sharon and her family made plans to make use of their prize.
She added: "I've got two boys who love Scotland and want to watch the games.
"I might put the bunting up in the house and have a little family party."
Sharon has a 20-year-old daughter and two sons (12 and four years old).
She added: "They [her sons] are disappointed they can't go to Germany but they are happy to watch on the TV.
"They've got their football tops at the ready."
