A MAN has admitted drugs offences following the recovery of £500,000 worth of cannabis in Hawick.
Forty-one-year-old Dritan Katana pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and also producing a controlled drug at the former Buccleuch Hotel in Trinity Street between September 19 and October 5 last year.
Sentence was deferred for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and Katana was remanded in custody.
The case will recall on July 22 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
