MEMBERS of Borders-based Fiona Henderson School of Dance (FHSD) are heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Following on the success from its previous sell-out shows, FHSD has announced it will return to the famous event.
School principal Fiona Henderson said: “We are thrilled to be performing at the Festival Fringe again.
“Our dancers have incredible experience working intensively on a new production with guest choreographers from around the UK.
“There is something special about being part of the world’s largest arts festival.”
The show, ‘Dance Dimensions’, is unique because it is a single performance show.
It is the output from a week-long intensive workshop for the senior FHSD dancers who only learn the choreography during the week of the performance itself.
The dancers work every day from 9am to 5pm with teachers as well as guest choreographers for the entire week to learn several routines.
‘Dance Dimensions’ is being performed at 3pm on Saturday, August 3, and tickets are on sale from the Fringe Box Office.
