A MOTORIST who drove a vehicle while almost three times the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the road for 14 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Forty-four-year-old Joseph Dunlop, of Coldingham Road, Eyemouth, pleaded guilty to driving with a breath/alcohol count of 62 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22.
The offence happened on the A1107 road near Eyemouth on November 12.
In addition to the disqualification period he was fined £400 with a £20 victim surcharge.
