BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Galashiels man who has admitted a drug dealing charge at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Twenty-five-year-old MacAulay Kerr, of Church Square, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
This follows the recovery of 4.8 ounces of cannabis – with a street value of between £1,000 and £2,000 – in Linglie Road, Selkirk, on April 20.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said: “These are serious matters.”
Kerr will be sentenced on September 2.
Co-accused Kane McHutchison, 22, of Galashiels, had his not guilty plea to being concerned in the supply of cannabis accepted by the Crown.
