A KELSO man appeared from custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and admitted a shoplifting offence.
Harrison McCue, 23, of Oakfield Court pleaded guilty to stealing £35 worth of alcohol and foodstuffs from the Co-op in High Croft, Kelso, on the evening of June 16.
He was fined £200 with a £10 victim surcharge and also ordered to pay the Co-op £35 in compensation within 28 days.
