A CHEF who admitted a drink-driving offence has been banned from the road for 12 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Przemyslaw Baranski pleaded guilty to driving with a breath count of 56 microgrammes – the legal limit being 22 – on the A698 road at Crailing on July 11.
Police officers stopped his vehicle after raising concerns about his manner of driving and he failed a roadside breath test.
The 41-year-old was also fined £600 with a £40 victim surcharge.
