WITNESSES have been urged to come forward after a fire in the Borders caused serious damage.
Police received a report that the bird watching hut within the Duns Castle Estate was alight at around 8pm on Sunday (August 18).
The damage to the hut is estimated at £3,000, according to a Police Scotland spokesperson.
They said: “Anyone who has any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3358 of August 18, 2024.”
