Borders man produced 'bladed article' when confronted by supermarket security officer
A 24-YEAR-OLD man who produced a bladed article after being confronted by a superstore security officer has been placed on supervision for the next 18 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Glen Todd, of Torwoodlee Road, Galashiels, pleaded guilty to stealing a television from the local branch of Asda on January 20.
When the security officer challenged him he refused to return the television and produced the metal bladed article.
The following day he was also in possession of a bladed article in Huddersfield Street, Galashiels.
