A 45-YEAR-OLD man who tried to obtain £2,000 by fraud by presenting a driving licence in the name of another person at the Bank of Scotland in Duns has received a 275-day prison sentence.
Patrick Davidson, who gave an address in Nottingham, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted fraud which happened on March 2, 2022.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard the jail sentence will start when his current prison term for another matter expires.
