A GALASHIELS man who admitted breaching his community payback order has had his sentence deferred for the production of background reports at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Thirty-five-year-old Michael Hartley will be sentenced next month.
He also appeared last Friday on warrant and pleaded not guilty to two charges of vandalism and also a charge of possessing an offensive weapon.
Hartley will stand trial on those charges at Selkirk Sheriff Court on December 12. He was released on bail.
