A GALASHIELS man who admitted threatening or abusive behaviour towards his partner has been ordered to attend the Caledonian Men’s Programme for the next two years.

Thirty-nine-year-old Kenneth Friel, of Gala Park, previously pleaded guilty to the offence at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
