BORDERS duo Darcy Graham and Rory Sutherland have been named in the Scotland squad for rugby’s new Nations Championship fixtures next month.
The Hawick pair will do battle against Argentina, South Africa and Fiji after earning the nod from head coach, and fellow Borderer, Gregor Townsend.
The duo are part of the 36-man squad that will face away games against Argentina (July 4) and South Africa (July 11) before returning to home soil and taking on Fiji on July 18.
Graham is Scotland’s all-time leading try scorer with 38, while Sutherland enters the summer fixtures aiming to top 50 appearances for his country – currently sitting two shy of the half-century mark.

Speaking to Scottish Rugby after announcing his squad, Townsend said: “It’s definitely different for us to take on the Springboks, the world champions, but to do it on the back of playing Argentina the week before, that’s going to be the big challenge – not just on the field but the travel and then coming back to Edinburgh to host Fiji.
“It makes for three exciting weeks and three very tough games.”
