THE audience at the Eastgate Theatre last Saturday (June 13) were whisked away to Wonderland in a magical experience of Alice The Musical.
This musical theatre production featured more than 20 young performers from Stardust Performance Arts and played to a packed house.
A spokesperson for Stardust Performance Arts said: “We were all simply blown away by the performances given by our junior cast members.
"It is amazing to think they were all only aged between five and 10-years-old. They gave outstanding performances, both individually and as a whole ensemble.
“Because Stardust Performance Arts has grown so much in recent years it was getting more challenging to ensure all our pupils received enough performance opportunities on stage - especially in our major productions like Footloose and Sister Act.
"So this was the first time we have given our junior and intermediate pupils their very own show.
"It was a bit of a risk given how young they were - to expect them to give a stage performance of this calibre and such a long show, but they rose to the challenge and were simply outstanding."
