A GALASHIELS resident has been fined for his behaviour in a Spar shop.
Scott Dalgliesh, 38, of the town's Forest Crescent, appeared at Selkirk Sheriff Court on March 9.
He was fined £175 and ordered to pay compensation of £100 after behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in the Spar at Marigold Bank, Galashiels, on October 1, 2019.
The compensation will go to the shop employee caught up in the early morning disturbance, the court heard.
