Don’t get me wrong, everyone to their own choice but flying the flag? Once that starts what about flags for other minority groups such as redheads or left handers? Then we could have ones for those who wear glasses, after all, they are often taunted as kids.
We could carry on and by the time we are finished we might end up with a different flag flying every day of the year.
After all, equality for all says we must not leave any diverse group out because, if we do, someone will be upset.
Let’s get back to common sense and recognise that everyone is different, in one way or another, so singling one group out over others is not inclusive rather it is divisive.
It is also a waste of taxpayers’ money when the Government and Councils are telling us they are short of funds.
I am, etc.
