The 23-year-old from West Linton pulled up with a hamstring injury during his Diamond League debut in Oslo last month.
O’Hare, who reached the World Championships final last year, is Scotland’s great hope over 1500 metres at Hampden. And he believes the injury is behind him as he will take to the track this Saturday, just before 4pm, in the star-studded Diamond League meeting in Glasgow.
Chris, who will also run in London next weekend at the Anniversary Games, told us: “The injury was a bit of a scare but I am happy with the recovery.
“I was happy with how I started the race in Oslo and I let a couple of guys go past me – when I tried to get back on the pace I couldn’t get any power out of my hamstring.
“I have had a few hard runs recently and it feels fine. I am confident I will be in good shape for the Commonwealth Games.”
