The P7 boys (pictured) bowed out on a high after winning their age group at the ProStrakan Tournament at Netherdale earlier this month.
Elsewhere at the weekend, at Jed Thistle Sevens, Melrose Wasps beat the hosts in the final. It followed a thrilling semi-final against Hawick Wanderers that went to extra time.
But, in terms of the SJ7s series, the roles were reversed with Jed pipping Melrose to the tile.
