SATURDAY saw Walkerburn Rugby Club play their annual Old Crocks game in glorious sunshine.
Both the weather and the skills on show were a good advert for summer rugby.
A mixture of old heads and really old heads along with a scattering of young fresh faces were cheered on by enthusiastic supporters getting their quota of vitamin D.
Although Walkerburn have not had a team in the National League this year, the club still exists and is looking at plans to get a regular team together once again.
If you are interested in playing or helping out down at the Burn contact secretary Colin McCudden on 07811257304.
The next big event will be the annual Walkerburn Sevens on Saturday, May 20.
Mr McCudden added: "We look forward to welcoming everyone down for a great day of rugby... we appreciate your support."
