GALASHIELS golfer Jack McDonald has returned from America with a highly creditable third-placed finish.
And the teenager also has the second-day 'low round' prize packed in his suitcase.
Jack was part of the East Lothian team who spent 10 days in the United States - culminating with the Winternationals Individual Junior Open Competition which was played over Pinehurst 2 and Pinehurst 1 courses.
Jack scored 81 on the first day and 72 on the second round to leave him in a tie for third place.
Jack's 72 was also the best score overall on day two and he was presented with the "low round" prize.
