BSC GLASGOW came from behind to collect their first win of the season after hosts Gala Fairydean Rovers picked up four red cards.

Gala’s Reece Donaldson, Josh Morris and Scott Main were all sent off along with manager Dean Shanks by referee Jonathan Gall during the 3-1 defeat.

Josh McCarthur had earlier cancelled out the home team’s opener from Kieran Watson before Adam Strachan converted a late penalty and Martin Grehan netted in injury time.

Home boss Shanks said: “It was a fantastic game of football with both teams competing well, but then decision after decision started to go against us and there’s not much more I’m allowed to say.

“It was a disappointing end to what could have been a great game of football.”

Paul Woods and Ross McNeil both scored braces as East Kilbride continued to set the pace with a 5-1 win over Vale of Leithen.

Sean Winter was also on target for Brain Kerr’s team with Sean Stewart netting Vale’s consolation at K Park.

Ross Allum found the net twice at East Stirlingshire fired four past managerless Whitehill Welfare, who had Ross Jardine sent off inside the second minute.

David McGaughie was also on target with Sean Lally steering the ball into his own net.

Shire boss Paul Sludden said: “The early sending off in some ways made it more difficult to break Whitehill down but once we got the second goal at the start of the second half we controlled the game well.

“We know there will be more difficult games coming up but I thought we did well today.”

Jordan Hopkinson scored on his home debut to give second-placed Civil Service Strollers a 1-0 win over Cumbernauld Colts.

Defending champions Spartans continued their charge up the table with a 4-0 victory against Dalbeattie Star at Ainslie Park.

Jack Smith, Jason Stevens and a Stephen Macdonald double gave Dougie Samuel’s team the points.

Matthew Flynn scored twice as Edusport Academy earned a 2-2 draw with Edinburgh University at Galabank.

Stuart McNicholas and Fraser Thomson were on target for the Students.

It was also a draw at Raydale Park where Gretna’s Liam Studholme cancelled out Stirling University’s opener from Lewis Hunter.
