HE'S better known for punching balls during corners, but Earlston's Grant Goodfellow has shown some swift hand movement to land a win in his first ever boxing bout.
The promising 20-year-old goalkeeper has played for Selkirk and Berwick Rangers.
But it's in the ring where the new Gala Boxing Club member is now catching the eye, so to speak.
Goodfellow made his competitive debut at the weekend in a show at Edinburgh University.
After forcing his opponent into three standing counts, the fight was finally stopped in the third round.
Coach Jim Doris told us: "Grant boxed like a champ.
"He can be very proud of his performance as everyone at the club is."
