ATHLETES of all ages and abilities lined up at Meigle park on Friday for the annual Rowan Boland Memorial Run.
And it was the charity, which supports sports stars of the future, that was the clear winner.
Around £800 was raised during the race for the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust.
Gregor Collins, who was to go on and win the Edinburgh 5K the following day as well as an open-graded 1500 metres at Tweedbank on the Sunday, retained his title with another impressive run.
The teenager was joined at the top of the podium by Ladies winner Kirsty Rankine.
Gala Rugby's Euan Dods and Scotland cricket player Caitlin Ormiston presented the trophies.
Other prize-winners on the evening were Jake Shepherd for first Junior Male and Jessica Hendry for first Junior Female.
Billy McCulloch was the Male Veterans winner with Myra Owen claiming the Women's Vet trophy.
A spokesman for the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust told us: "We would like to thank everyone who came along and supported this year's Memorial Run."
