ALMOST 100 athletes took on the three Eildons on Saturday.
First home in a time of 37.11 minutes was Cambuslang Harrier Ben Huskins.
Just over a minute further back was Peter Gardner with Iain Stewart claiming third place.
Charlotte Morgan from Carnethy took the women's race in 42.12.
Around two minutes further back in second was Sarah McKechnie and Michelle Short finished well to take third place.
The tradition 7.2 kilometre hill race, which features almost 500 metres of climbing, has been run in June for more than half a century.
A large Melrose Festival crowd in Gibson Park welcomed back all 92 finishers.
