GALA Fairydean Rovers cruised through to the third round of the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup with a comfortable 5-1 victory over Premiership side Glenrothes at Netherdale last night.

From then on however Gala dominated and Anthony Mensah almost restored parity but his close range header from an excellent Danny Galbraith cross was brilliantly saved by Adam Shaw.
