GALA Fairydean Rovers are in Scottish Cup action this afternoon against Highland League side Strathspey Thistle.
The oldest existing trophy in world football, now known as the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup is celebrating its 150th anniversary.
The first-round tie kicks off at Netherdale in Galashiels at 3pm.
Manager Martin Scott’s side go into their first game for a fortnight in good form having won three and drawn one of their last four games.
But Strathspey from Grantown-on-Spey in Moray are bottom of table having lost their first six fixtures of the current campaign.
