BERWICKSHIRE'S Cameron Tindle finished third over 200 metres at the Loughborough International meeting at the weekend.

The 19-year-old represented Great Britain Juniors in the team competition.

As well as clocking 21.1 seconds for bronze in the 200 metres Tindle also helped GB Juniors to third in the 4x100 metres relay behind the British senior team.

Peeblesshire's Jordan Charters finished tenth in the Long Jump for Scotland with a distance of 6.91 metres.

British half mile champion Guy Learmonth from Berwickshire opted to compete over 400 metres as a guest.

The 25-year-old clocked 48.73 seconds to finish third in the B final.

Stacey Downie from West Linton also competed as a guest over 200 metres and 400 metres.

The PE teacher struck gold in the one lap B race with a time of 55.29 seconds but had to settle for second in the B 200 metres with a time of 24.36 seconds.
