THE Borders has recorded zero new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, according to figures released today (April 27).
Updated figures are released by the Scottish Government at 2pm each day.
And today’s figures show that the Borders has still recorded 2,884 cases of coronavirus since March last year.
Scotland 225,479 cases of the virus since the pandemic began, the figures show.
There are fewer than five people in hospital with the virus in the region, as has been the case for the entirety of March and April, 2021.
