THE Borders recorded 83 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, latest figures show.
At 2pm today (July 26), the Scottish Government published updated statistics on cases.
And the latest figures show the Borders has now seen 4,495 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.

There are six people currently in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of the virus, according to the new data.
On Saturday and Sunday, there were fewer than five in hospital in the region.
Scotland has now recorded 341,015 cases of coronavirus, the latest figures show.
