Scottish Borders Council has announced that a phased schedule of Galashiels road closures has started
A ‘PHASED schedule’ of Galashiels road closures has started, according to Scottish Borders Council (SBC).
The town’s Hall Street will be closed between 9am-5pm today (October 11) and tomorrow for resurfacing works.
The one way systems on Roxburgh Street and Union Street will be removed during the works, says an SBC spokesperson.

Kirk Brae will then close between 9am-5pm on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the spokesperson.
The final closure will be on Mossilee Road on Friday – again between 9am-5pm.
