SENTENCE has been deferred on a Borders man for three months after he appeared on a number of complaints.
Paul Madden, 41, of Eastfield Road, Hawick, pleaded guilty to various charges at Jedburgh Sheriff Court including theft by shoplifting, theft from a vehicle and assaulting a retail worker during the course of their employment.
The case will recall on October 24.
