A BORDERS man who admitted a breach of bail conditions has been jailed for 14 days at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Fifty-year-old Scott Shearman, of Hawick, was placed on a curfew at his Howdenbank home but when police officers turned up at the property at night time on October 1 he failed to answer the door.
Shearman was fined £200 but as he is in custody on another matter he requested no time to pay and the alternative of 14 days in prison was imposed.
