A MAN who blitzed his former partner with hundreds of abusive telephone calls and text messages during the course of one day has admitted a stalking charge at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Thirty-three-year-old Michael Hall pleaded guilty to the offence which happened at his former partner’s home on January 10.
He also pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Hall was placed on supervision for two years and ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
He was also given a two-year non-harassment order preventing him from having any contact with his former partner.
