THE B6437 road will be closed from today Tuesday September 5 2023 for four days between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
The closure at Causewaybank north of Chirnside is to facilitate resurfacing work.
The alternative route is via B6437, B6438, B6355, A6105 and B6437 to point of closure.

The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.

“Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
“For further information on road works area please call 0300 100 1800.”
