POLICE in the Scottish Borders are investigating the theft of tools from a van in Ayton.
The theft took place around 6.45 pm on Friday,September 12023, when a black Ford Transit van parked next to the B6335 at Ayton Castle was broken into.

Tools to the value of around £2700 were stolen.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has relevant Dashcam or CCTV footage from the area between 6 pm and 8 pm on Friday evening is asked to contact police.
