GALA Fairydean Rovers defender Ciaran Greene has been shortlisted for the SM Media Lowland League Player of the Week award.
The Galashiels teenager has been in outstanding form all season at the heart of the GFR defence.

On Saturday he picked up the Precious Windows & Doors Man of the Match award after helping his side to a 2-0 victory over the University of Stirling.
Ciaran faces stiff competition for the award.

Also nominated is Celtic B’s Rocco Vata who scored the opener in his side’s 2-1 win over Albion Rovers, East Kilbride’s Nathan Flanagan who scored a first-half hat trick in his sides 9-0 victory over Edinburgh University and Tranent’s Cammy Ross who scored five against Gretna in their 8-0 victory.
