MILITARY exercises will be taking place in the Scottish Borders over the next couple of days.

The activity which has been going on throughout the country for the past two week will arrive in the Borders tomorrow Wednesday September 20 and will continue on Thursday September 21.

The Ministry of Defence said they will be conducting a low-level exercise which may have Helicopter activity in the Duns area.

There will also be overflights and possibly landings on the ground East of Ladykirk.

Residents may see some ground activity including the use of simulated munitions.
