A BORDERS road will close for three days this week (weather permitting) to facilitate screed works.
The B6357 will close at Grey Peel between 9am and 4pm on Monday December 11, Tuesday December 12 and Wednesday December 13.

The alternative route is via the B6357, A6088, A68 and B6357 to the point of closure.
The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.

"Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
“For further information on road works area please call 0300 100 1800.”
