TRIBUTES have been paid to a pregnant teenager from the Borders and her unborn baby who died after contracting swine flu. The 17-year-old woman, who has been named locally as Denise Murray from Tweedbank, is the first person in the region to die from the H1N1 virus. Their deaths follow a dramatic rise in the number of people contracting swine flu in Scotland. Local MSP Jeremy Purvis revealed the Borders has been left shocked by the tragedy.
