POLICE have named the woman who was killed in a crash near Kelso on Friday afternoon.
Michelle Bennett from Berwick-Upon-Tweed was a back seat passenger in a Suzuki Ignis when it left the B6350 and rolled at 4.15pm.
The 47-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another female passenger, who was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, remains in a serious but stable condition.
The female driver and a further two passengers, a man and a woman, were taken to the Borders General Hospital, however their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Road policing officers are continuing their inquiries into this matter and anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to contact 101.
