A SELKIRK teenager has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of assaulting two males at the weekend.
James Dawson is also charged with possession of a knife and threatening or abusive behaviour.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in Selkirk on Sunday.
The 18-year-old made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination.
Dawson was released on bail by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
