POLICE have revealed the identity of a 77-year-old man who died while kayaking near Burnmouth.
Jerzy Florkowski from Lancashire was rescued from the water near Burnmouth on Tuesday evening (May 16) by emergency services.
He was brought to shore but passed away a short time later.
Mr Florkowski had set off from Burnmouth Harbour earlier in the day, but concerns were raised when he failed to return to shore.
