A PENSIONER has been accused of dangerous driving and causing serious injury to a passenger in her car following a collision on the A1 at Grantshouse.
Joanne Drummond of Edington Hill Cottage, Duns, denies failing to comply with road markings and was on the opposite side of the carriageway when it was not safe to do so and collide with an oncoming vehicle.
The charge says Alexander Drummond was seriously injured and there was extensive damage to both vehicles.
The accident is alleged to have happened on August 1 last year.
The 70-year-old has pleaded not guilty and the case will recall at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on July 24.
