A fatal accident inquiry is due to get underway today into the death of a Hawick motorist almost two years ago.
Sixty four year old James Miller died after his Vauxhall Cavalier car was in collision with a Renault lorry travelling in the opposite direction in the Borders.
The accident happened on the A7, near Teviothead, on the morning of Monday, December 10, 2015.
Mr Miller's car left the road and caught fire.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver was taken to hospital and later released.
Five days have been set aside for the fatal accident inquiry inquiry into the death of Mr Miller.
It is due to get underway at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today.
