Two men charged in connection with Galashiels assault
TWO men have been charged in connection with an assault in Galashiels.
It follows an incident in Overhaugh Street last month.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police in the Scottish Borders have arrested and charged two men aged 21 years old and 24 years old respectively, in connection with an assault in Overhaugh Street, Galashiels on Saturday, December 30.
"The assault happened during a disturbance where a car windscreen was also damaged.
"The men are due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Friday, February 12."
