Pair accused of posting intimate images are banned from Peebles
A MAN and woman have been accused of posting a film on social media showing a female in an intimate situation.
It is claimed they sent the video to others and put on Instagram with the intention of causing the woman fear, alarm and distress.
Jason Wright, who is 32, of Galalaw Road in Hawick, and 28-year-old Ashley Gallagher, also from Hawick, pleaded not guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court this week to the offence which is alleged to have happened between July 3 and November 23.
A trial date has been fixed for February 8.
Both of them have been released on bail with special conditions include not contacting a named woman and not entering Peebles.
