STANDING water from yesterday's floods has led to seven different sections of road remaining closed today.
The B6350 at both Carham and Cornhill on Tweed are shut due to deep pools on the road.
Knee-deep pools on the B6400 just south of Lilliesleaf, near the sawmill, is also preventing traffic getting through.
And the same road near to Nisbet is also closed due to standing water.
Deep water at Bellspool is preventing traffic getting through on the B712 near to Dawyck in Upper Tweeddale.
The Granites Road, between Innerleithen and the A7, has also remained closed for a second day due to the floods.
Several other routes still have standing water but are passable with care.
UPDATE:
- Scottish Borders Council has confirmed the A699 at Springwood Park in Kelso has reopened today, but motorists are advised to drive with care as there is silt debris on the road.
