A 43-year-old man has admitted making threatening phone calls to Police Scotland over two days at the start of the month.
Fraser Miller of Weensland Road in Hawick pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to sending menacing messages to call handlers at Police Scotland on several occasions on June 8 and 9.
During the menacing calls he threatened violence to police officers and others and said he was in possession of knives and firearms.
Sentence was deferred until July 23 for the production of background reports.
