GALASHIELS boxer Jack Noble won a silver medal in the 80kg category at the Celtic Box Cup tournament in Dungarvan, Waterford, Ireland last weekend.
Noble beat Zac Ribbon from Birmingham Boxing Club on Saturday but lost to Kevin Osifo from Neilstown Boxing Club in the final on Sunday.

Fellow Gala boxer Aqeel Aziz, fighting at 67kg won his quarter final on Friday night against Scott Stewart from St Nicholas Boxing Club by unanimous decision but lost 3/2 in the semi-final to Richard Phiri.

Jack Grieve beat Qasim Khan from Total Fitness Club in Derby by unanimous decision in the quarter final but lost in the semi to Lex Weston from Emerald Boxing Club Belfast.
