BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a woman who threatened to kill her mother in a disturbance at a house in Jedburgh.
The town’s sheriff court heard how 27-year-old Emily Forbes shouted abusive names at her mother, said she was dead and ran her finger along her throat in a threatening gesture at the house in Abbey Bridge End on July 5.
Defence lawyer Ross Dow said his client had now reconciled with her mother since the incident.
Sentence was deferred until November 28 for a criminal justice social work report on Forbes, of Woodstock Avenue, Galashiels.
